Tea.. Tea.. And more Tea....

Well am home bound again. It seems like the domino effect is still rolling from 2006 into 2007 of my life. If there is any truth about horoscopes... This year I will face a lot of illnesses from waist up. I was sent home today on both jobs part and full time due to inflamation of my tonsils. Sad to say I would really rather stay at work since I really don't have any time to be out since I my accident last Nov. 8 ate it all up... I know this blog is very depressing but I really don't have any perky stories to share... My half full mentally is starting to go the opposite direction... Half empty... El Nino is upon me right now.... I know I know... You did not come here for this and I apologize... Hopefully next time there will be a better story... Be safe be well..

Three Kings.... and there goes our Christmas Tree....

Hello... well I hope everybody had a great holiday. Mine was a bit crazy since there were a few episodes that you might already by now. 1st on November 8,2006 I was in a major accident. Then on November 28 I finally got a new Rig, actually it is Jack`s Rig... uhhh huh so the bird say. With the recent accident I really have seen a picture of my life and now had set my priorities in order. I am truly thankful for still having my parents in my life and next is Potsie who was and will be always there for me..... uhh huh so she says and also am thankful for being blessed with all my jobs. Not everyday someone can complain that he or she got to many jobs with the way economy is going now. And of course friends. They truly are a blessing. I just hope that they would understand that sometimes 24 hours is not enough and it may seems like they never feel my presence but I truly think of you everyday and pray that you are all in good health. For 2007 with the new addition of Jack`s Ride I would be keeping my 7 day a week work schedule and no am not complaining about I just hope that you would understand why I have to do it. Hopefully in the near future ( about 3-4 years from now when we get to relocate ) I would be able to balance work, family and friends. For now I wish everyone a very prosperous New Year! Be safe always and Wear your seat belts always!

About time I finish this trip report.....

as we left off from previous thread... We are now getting ready for MNSSHP on 9-29-06

It was sold out for that night and had never seen it this busy. Not a lot of sighting for Characters not even Jack Sparrow. Mom had so much fun hunting for candy corners. We were able to ride the POTC a couple of times and enjoyed the fireworks with a big bucket of popcorn and funnel cakes. Went around Fantasyland looking for some Disers and have met a few from other threads but did not get any of their name. We just had the I know you are a DISER Nod. Also rode the haunted mansion a couple fo times which is Potsie's favorite ride. Toon Town was going crazy in giving out candies it was great. We sat down at the Noodle House Station to rest and check our loot and realized that mine is only half a bag for I was busy eating it. Got back at POP around 1:00AM and of course just like a regular trick or treat night we had to pour the content of the bag on our beds and check what we got ! And finally get ready for bed.

Sept. 30,2006
Let see, We woke up around 9:30AM and got ready. We are headed to DTD for a nice lunch with the Earl! Love their sandwiches!!! After a relaxing lunch off we scout stuff at the Pin Trading Station. Got Potsie one of her bday gift and more pins. Of course had to go see Goofy and his treats even though we all know we have so many sweets back in our room. Then we also had to check what is new at the World of Disney Market and take notes on what we would want to buy and bring home. Also stopped by at Ghirardelli for some chocolates. Hmmmmm now it is time for dinner yey!!! We have an ADR at Boma at 4:30PM. Uh huh after walking around DTD we did worked up an appetite! Also Potsie was surprised with her bday cake! Yummy! You better try it next time you are there, it was yellow cake with strawberry fruit filling with chocolate mouse for icing! And also that day AK was celebrating Botswana Independence day and had live entertainment. I am not familiar if this is now a regular but it was our 1st experience at Boma for this fun entertainment. And of course one of the great CM who made our dining magical was Mr. Steve.

After dinner we have a watch a movie date in our must to do list. Off we drove back to DTD and decided to watch The Guardian. After choosing the movie, on our way up in the theater where the lights were dimmed to find good sits, Potsie missed a stepped and landed on strangers lap. The funny part was both her hands were holding his tummy and he said to her I love you too . The wife who was sitting next to him does not look pleased at all . All we could say was sorry and trying hard to do it with a straight face. While waiting for the movie to start, there were a bunch of kids sitting behind us and was kicking our sits for fun and we asked them nicely to please stop but as soon as the lights dimmed and the previous started showing, they literally poured soda over moms head and shoulder. Not a good sight! Potsie went out and asked help with the managers. They said the only thing they can do is switched sits with the bunch of girls and if they persist they would just give us tickets for the next showings time slot. They also went and talked to the bunch of kids/girls and one of the ushers had stayed in the movies to sit next to them. We finally got to sit in peace and watched the movie. If you have not seen the movie I highly recommend it. It gets a thumbs up! Time to go home for a much needed snooze and the mousekeeper was nice enough to fix our beds to our liking.

October 1st

For today we have AK and MGM on our to do list. As always we started our day late. Woke up around 9:00AM got ready grab a quick bite at the Foodcourt at PoP ( which was really just an excuse to scout Disers but sad to say not a lot of them are in sight, I think they ran and hide every time they see my shadow comes in contact). We got to AK and a lot of Characters were out with long lines already. And of course we have to take pictures of the Tree of Life, you just gotta! And while we are there we have to go see Flik and It`s Tough to be a Bug show which also gives you some cooling moments with all the excitement around you! Then off to the Flame Tree counter service, Yummy!!! They give you big enough portion to share it with someone. This one girl about 2 or 3 years of age was so cute sharing her meal with the ducks.

Mom ~ you are not supposed to feed those ducks
Toddler ~ smiles.. And throw a piece of bread under the table and winked at us!

To cute ! OK after dilly dallying we head to Everest Expedition! Did I mention Potsie do not do rides as in roller coaster ride, last year we finally got her on Barnstormer and she did good on that and thank God we are weee bit smaller back then than now because if I remembered it right, sitting 2 healthy adults sitting together was a bit tough but it gave her comfort that if we ever go upside down we wont be thrown out of the mini coaster since it was snug. Whew!!! The lines were long at Expedition Everest and we ended up getting fast passes. Off we go to Dinosaur and that is a walk through! No wait at all, which means everybody was trying to check out the Yeti. After Dinosaur we heeded back to EE and the moment of truth is here. We had a few minutes to kill and had met a lot of kiddies of course with their one set of parent = baby swap act = and was able to make friends with a few! Love moments like this were you get to interact with the real people and tells you how much fun and stuff they have done already! Children are true blessings from up above. And also while waiting and was checking out merchandise from EE we met CM Konai (pronounced as Ko-na-ee) she was a big factor in my getting in this ride, Gave me a briefing on how this one will go since I was a bit leary about going through it! And at the end we have pictures to prove it!

By the time we got to MGM everybody is getting ready to watch the Parade. MGM was not one of our regular Park we go to so it is always a fresh sightings for us. Perfect! There was a free bench we can sit on and have great Photo Op. And after checking some shops we trek towards Thee Tower Of Terror, we have to do what we came here for! I cannot remember when was the 1st which was also the last time I was on TOT. But this trip I will be brave enough to grab my soul back up there. Yes Up there! So here we go. It was a walk through ! No point in going back, there were kids in line who were excited so I had to compose myself and act ADULT like !!! Fasten your seat belt! Voila !! The 1st drop I must have screamed my vocal cords out! The 2nd drop I try to scream but nothing came out and the 3rd ??? Do not ask me ! By the time the ride was done I was speechless not because I have nothing to say! But I got no voice! I sounded like a frog!! Hmmmm nobody kissed me up there, and I thought you kiss a frog to be a Prince in my case I a princess turning to a frog ? Mom was laughing and laughing and laughing, this means she did panic and got a wee bit scared but will not admit to it. Which means she needs some refreshments to calm her down! Ice cream!!! Again Potsie was on the sidelines waiting for our return! So off we grab some refreshments. And a few minutes later I left Mother and Daughter to themselves while I scout some of my Dis Pals.

Oct. 2nd Monday
Full day at EPCOT ( so we planned)..

Woke up around 8:00AM and got ready for a Feast of a Lifetime!!! I know I am going to try to sample some of the matching wines every country so I munch my yogurt bars and fruit! No plans in getting drunk! As soon as we got to EPCOT we head straight to get a fast pass Soarin` and only then we realize that there was only a 20 minute wait! What the hay! We went it and waited in line. Met a lovely couple whom Potsie chatted their minds out all the way to finish line! We did not get the top car so when we took off we have feet dangling over our view more reason to go in again! Mom enjoyed it a lot and cannot stop talking about it. Soarin` was over and we have about 40 minutes to kill for the 2nd round of riding Soarin' so off to see what`s in harvest right now at the Land (Living with the land). The 2nd time around was much better. We got the 1st car so we are on top of the world.. Love it !

After Soarin` just like what Pooh Bear had said we are all feeling 11:00 O`Clockish, time to find something sweet! We geared toward the World Showcase for our 1st stop! Florida !! Some shrimp with the Blue Fish Riesling, which was a great combination delish Wine for a nice hot day! I must have drank a whole bottle by the time got to Canada. Had Mexican wine, Italian wine which was super delish! It was around 3:00PM and we decided to go back to the hotel to take a nap and NO I am not drunk hahahaha.

Oct. 3rd dedicated for MK

As always we start our day at teh Crystal Palace. And after stuffing our face with lots of food I finally noticed this lady next to our table, she has been checking me out NOt!!!! She was from the boards and she was from UK that I have been sending lime green mickey heads via email. It was great! Finally a face to a name ! Today being the last day at the park we basically took a lesuirely phase. Potsie did get to ride DUMBO and I think she liked it since she plan to ride it again next time. After watching Spectro magic and cried over the Wishes Fireworks... off we go back to PoP. Left mom and Potsie in the room packing while I hang out with my Dis Pals again till the weeeee hours of the nite! It was fun!
