Sunday April 15th
Ok it is now Sunday the 15th and for the 1st time in ages I have my coffee maker in the room to make my fave Sumatra coffee also I brought along my mini rice cooker for my brown rice! Sorry cannot give up brown rice if I want to stay pain free in this trip.

After enjoying a nice cup of rice and a cup of coffee off to DTD. No plans for Sunday but to browse and soak the Florida Sun! Yikes got out and it was a bit chilly! Uh huh the sweat shirts and jackets were in full bloom, yes you read it right I did not mean the flowers are in full bloom (that’s at EPCOT) it was the shops displays of a variety of hoodies and jackets! Which did not bother me since 65 to 70 degrees with no humidity is the best thing that ever happened in Florida for me. Keys check... Cell phone check... sunscreen check... And as soon as I got out of the room it was raining like there is no tomorrow. But I need to do some grocery shopping and this is what it look liked at the Crossing, Gooding's Supermarket.

After browsing the store for a good minute, paid my purchases and back to the resorts.

By the time I got to DTD the weather had ease up and the sun was trying hard to shine.

Lunch was delish at Fulton’s Crab House. Of course I had to have the Brabcake sandwich and calamari for appetizers and my 1st drink, this was supposed to be a Sweet Pucker, uh huh that’s what it was called on the menu. Can you say SWEET???
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
After the CM saw this picture he was nice enough to switch my drink to a much better sweeter drink… The Fulton’s Fusion! Ok lunch is over so now back to DTD and just plain enjoying the day!

My 1st trip home.. the pain and obstacle in getting there....

OK… where do I begin…? Well I guess the experience of missing the flight. From day one it was not meant to get on the 1:30PM flight on April 14th. The journey began months ago, flying out of PHL on Sunday but the only flight I can get was the 5PM one. SWA was fully booked so I religiously sat in front of the PC for that lucky ding. Who would not want to get in early and get out late of MCO for the mouse? And also I did not want to bite the double points needed on a Saturday stay at SSR. And since vaca starts Saturday getting very early in the morning on Sunday is not a problem. I waited and waited and waited but no morning flights opened so I had to finalize my dates and voila a Saturday flight opened but not Sunday. Hey might as well, so yup called the 800 number added a Saturday night and took the 1:30PM flight out of PHL.
Finally the day arrive… mind you this is the 1st time I am flying out of PHL after 12 noon … always had taken the 1st flight out anywhere I go so I guess I am a bit discombobulated, left the house at 11:00AM have enough time to get there and give me my 2 hour leeway, the airport is only 15 minutes away. Got to the airport and realized I forgot the cell phone, the most important tool in this day and age! So yup drove back to get it. Got at the airport and was at the desk exactly 1 hour 30 minutes! Ok luggages are all in off I trek upstairs to line up for the TSA entry check! Oh my God! The line was from the door to Mount Timbuktu :faint:! But told myself I have a good 1 hour and 15 minutes this should be OKEY :thumbsup2 ! 30 minutes standing in that line and it wasn’t moving at all but the line had gone back from Mount Timbuktu to Philadelphia International Airport with banners on! Finally grab one of the TSA agents and ask what is going on, she said it will take about 15 to 20 minutes and it will be OK. Well the opened a new line so I thought “praise God this is it”! Would you believe that line did not move at all? Right in front was a bunch of kids about 20 or so taking all their shoes, yapping on the cell phone giggling left and right and all waiting for who is chaperoning whose group. Finally a couple of travelers in front of me suggested going ahead since they heard my flight was on final boarding. By the time I got to the conveyor thing the one traveler with kid told me she can’t let me go since her flight is due in 45 minutes :scared1: ! So again waited for her to get the kids shoes off cried some more gave the kid milk cried some more and finally it was my turn. I must have look a mean B***h when the TSA agent commented about my shirt ( I was wearing a shirt stating “I will be nice to you if you give me chocolate” from Chocolate factory) that his girlfriend would like my shirt and all I can say was… AND??? Got through the check and ran with all my might but was too late. The plane had left the airport. I had to compose myself coz right about that minute all I can see was red! I see adolescent kids passing by and all I can think of was why you can be allowed at the airports! Why??? After counting 1 to 10 and reminded myself that I have adorable nieces and nephews and will eventually be their age all I can do was pray that hopefully they turn into a better teenagers than the one I just encountered that day! OK… on to the better part of this trip report! I was absorbed by the next flight and guess what time it was? Yes the 5:00PM flight that I tried hard not go book!
Finally!!! We landed at MCO at around 8ish. Had went straight to Dollar Car rental counter (I would never suggest Dollar at MCO. I have been using Alamo/National and Enterprise always and Dollar had a sweet deal at the time but never again they grab you in and take your entire DOLLAR and many more away with all their hidden fees!) We are going to skip this part let’s move on to finally getting a :car:. After getting directions to SSR off to 526 WEST to I-4 and then to Lake Buena Vista Ave!

I need some Bubble Tea !!!

Howdy Padner ??!! Today started really early. Jack was howling yes howling to his hearts delight as early as 7:00AM and Potsie was sound as a log. Around 8ish Potsie woke up ( finally I say !!!) about having a bad dream. About Rot2 being in an accident. So I suggested to give Rot2 a call. I am so glad this two are bonding like sisters now. It took some time but I think and hope they are getting there. Anyhooooo.... after talking to mom and Rot2 we decided to get up and go. 1st stop was the New Balance store and got Potsie the shoe that will bring Potsie some Good luck (yeah right!), then off to Dicks Sporting Good Store ( I wonder if it was really Richard's Sportingood Store but he just want to be a Smart @ss and made it to Dicks ... who knows...) and we got some good pair of running capris for Potsie and I got a nice new CLEO Crocs.. I love it I love it I love it but I have to refrain from hoarding ! Also got a white Life is Good shirt to match with my Golf Skort ( can you tell am glowing right about now... it's shopping we're talking about). Then we also stopped at Bed Bath and beyond for a Panini pan and press... so we're hoping we can refrain from going to Panera Bread house for now. Hmm what else.. ahhhh then off to Traders Joe.. Potsie is in the mood to bake so we got some Green tea cake mix and last but not the least we had to go to Panera ( did I just say we're trying to refrain from going there... love love love that store) to get some 3 Cheese bread and Multigrain and some bagel. Ok... I guess that's about it... Time to clean up and go home !!!

this is going to be us !!!

Tea.. Tea.. And more Tea....

Well am home bound again. It seems like the domino effect is still rolling from 2006 into 2007 of my life. If there is any truth about horoscopes... This year I will face a lot of illnesses from waist up. I was sent home today on both jobs part and full time due to inflamation of my tonsils. Sad to say I would really rather stay at work since I really don't have any time to be out since I my accident last Nov. 8 ate it all up... I know this blog is very depressing but I really don't have any perky stories to share... My half full mentally is starting to go the opposite direction... Half empty... El Nino is upon me right now.... I know I know... You did not come here for this and I apologize... Hopefully next time there will be a better story... Be safe be well..

Three Kings.... and there goes our Christmas Tree....

Hello... well I hope everybody had a great holiday. Mine was a bit crazy since there were a few episodes that you might already by now. 1st on November 8,2006 I was in a major accident. Then on November 28 I finally got a new Rig, actually it is Jack`s Rig... uhhh huh so the bird say. With the recent accident I really have seen a picture of my life and now had set my priorities in order. I am truly thankful for still having my parents in my life and next is Potsie who was and will be always there for me..... uhh huh so she says and also am thankful for being blessed with all my jobs. Not everyday someone can complain that he or she got to many jobs with the way economy is going now. And of course friends. They truly are a blessing. I just hope that they would understand that sometimes 24 hours is not enough and it may seems like they never feel my presence but I truly think of you everyday and pray that you are all in good health. For 2007 with the new addition of Jack`s Ride I would be keeping my 7 day a week work schedule and no am not complaining about I just hope that you would understand why I have to do it. Hopefully in the near future ( about 3-4 years from now when we get to relocate ) I would be able to balance work, family and friends. For now I wish everyone a very prosperous New Year! Be safe always and Wear your seat belts always!

About time I finish this trip report.....

as we left off from previous thread... We are now getting ready for MNSSHP on 9-29-06

It was sold out for that night and had never seen it this busy. Not a lot of sighting for Characters not even Jack Sparrow. Mom had so much fun hunting for candy corners. We were able to ride the POTC a couple of times and enjoyed the fireworks with a big bucket of popcorn and funnel cakes. Went around Fantasyland looking for some Disers and have met a few from other threads but did not get any of their name. We just had the I know you are a DISER Nod. Also rode the haunted mansion a couple fo times which is Potsie's favorite ride. Toon Town was going crazy in giving out candies it was great. We sat down at the Noodle House Station to rest and check our loot and realized that mine is only half a bag for I was busy eating it. Got back at POP around 1:00AM and of course just like a regular trick or treat night we had to pour the content of the bag on our beds and check what we got ! And finally get ready for bed.

Sept. 30,2006
Let see, We woke up around 9:30AM and got ready. We are headed to DTD for a nice lunch with the Earl! Love their sandwiches!!! After a relaxing lunch off we scout stuff at the Pin Trading Station. Got Potsie one of her bday gift and more pins. Of course had to go see Goofy and his treats even though we all know we have so many sweets back in our room. Then we also had to check what is new at the World of Disney Market and take notes on what we would want to buy and bring home. Also stopped by at Ghirardelli for some chocolates. Hmmmmm now it is time for dinner yey!!! We have an ADR at Boma at 4:30PM. Uh huh after walking around DTD we did worked up an appetite! Also Potsie was surprised with her bday cake! Yummy! You better try it next time you are there, it was yellow cake with strawberry fruit filling with chocolate mouse for icing! And also that day AK was celebrating Botswana Independence day and had live entertainment. I am not familiar if this is now a regular but it was our 1st experience at Boma for this fun entertainment. And of course one of the great CM who made our dining magical was Mr. Steve.

After dinner we have a watch a movie date in our must to do list. Off we drove back to DTD and decided to watch The Guardian. After choosing the movie, on our way up in the theater where the lights were dimmed to find good sits, Potsie missed a stepped and landed on strangers lap. The funny part was both her hands were holding his tummy and he said to her I love you too . The wife who was sitting next to him does not look pleased at all . All we could say was sorry and trying hard to do it with a straight face. While waiting for the movie to start, there were a bunch of kids sitting behind us and was kicking our sits for fun and we asked them nicely to please stop but as soon as the lights dimmed and the previous started showing, they literally poured soda over moms head and shoulder. Not a good sight! Potsie went out and asked help with the managers. They said the only thing they can do is switched sits with the bunch of girls and if they persist they would just give us tickets for the next showings time slot. They also went and talked to the bunch of kids/girls and one of the ushers had stayed in the movies to sit next to them. We finally got to sit in peace and watched the movie. If you have not seen the movie I highly recommend it. It gets a thumbs up! Time to go home for a much needed snooze and the mousekeeper was nice enough to fix our beds to our liking.

October 1st

For today we have AK and MGM on our to do list. As always we started our day late. Woke up around 9:00AM got ready grab a quick bite at the Foodcourt at PoP ( which was really just an excuse to scout Disers but sad to say not a lot of them are in sight, I think they ran and hide every time they see my shadow comes in contact). We got to AK and a lot of Characters were out with long lines already. And of course we have to take pictures of the Tree of Life, you just gotta! And while we are there we have to go see Flik and It`s Tough to be a Bug show which also gives you some cooling moments with all the excitement around you! Then off to the Flame Tree counter service, Yummy!!! They give you big enough portion to share it with someone. This one girl about 2 or 3 years of age was so cute sharing her meal with the ducks.

Mom ~ you are not supposed to feed those ducks
Toddler ~ smiles.. And throw a piece of bread under the table and winked at us!

To cute ! OK after dilly dallying we head to Everest Expedition! Did I mention Potsie do not do rides as in roller coaster ride, last year we finally got her on Barnstormer and she did good on that and thank God we are weee bit smaller back then than now because if I remembered it right, sitting 2 healthy adults sitting together was a bit tough but it gave her comfort that if we ever go upside down we wont be thrown out of the mini coaster since it was snug. Whew!!! The lines were long at Expedition Everest and we ended up getting fast passes. Off we go to Dinosaur and that is a walk through! No wait at all, which means everybody was trying to check out the Yeti. After Dinosaur we heeded back to EE and the moment of truth is here. We had a few minutes to kill and had met a lot of kiddies of course with their one set of parent = baby swap act = and was able to make friends with a few! Love moments like this were you get to interact with the real people and tells you how much fun and stuff they have done already! Children are true blessings from up above. And also while waiting and was checking out merchandise from EE we met CM Konai (pronounced as Ko-na-ee) she was a big factor in my getting in this ride, Gave me a briefing on how this one will go since I was a bit leary about going through it! And at the end we have pictures to prove it!

By the time we got to MGM everybody is getting ready to watch the Parade. MGM was not one of our regular Park we go to so it is always a fresh sightings for us. Perfect! There was a free bench we can sit on and have great Photo Op. And after checking some shops we trek towards Thee Tower Of Terror, we have to do what we came here for! I cannot remember when was the 1st which was also the last time I was on TOT. But this trip I will be brave enough to grab my soul back up there. Yes Up there! So here we go. It was a walk through ! No point in going back, there were kids in line who were excited so I had to compose myself and act ADULT like !!! Fasten your seat belt! Voila !! The 1st drop I must have screamed my vocal cords out! The 2nd drop I try to scream but nothing came out and the 3rd ??? Do not ask me ! By the time the ride was done I was speechless not because I have nothing to say! But I got no voice! I sounded like a frog!! Hmmmm nobody kissed me up there, and I thought you kiss a frog to be a Prince in my case I a princess turning to a frog ? Mom was laughing and laughing and laughing, this means she did panic and got a wee bit scared but will not admit to it. Which means she needs some refreshments to calm her down! Ice cream!!! Again Potsie was on the sidelines waiting for our return! So off we grab some refreshments. And a few minutes later I left Mother and Daughter to themselves while I scout some of my Dis Pals.

Oct. 2nd Monday
Full day at EPCOT ( so we planned)..

Woke up around 8:00AM and got ready for a Feast of a Lifetime!!! I know I am going to try to sample some of the matching wines every country so I munch my yogurt bars and fruit! No plans in getting drunk! As soon as we got to EPCOT we head straight to get a fast pass Soarin` and only then we realize that there was only a 20 minute wait! What the hay! We went it and waited in line. Met a lovely couple whom Potsie chatted their minds out all the way to finish line! We did not get the top car so when we took off we have feet dangling over our view more reason to go in again! Mom enjoyed it a lot and cannot stop talking about it. Soarin` was over and we have about 40 minutes to kill for the 2nd round of riding Soarin' so off to see what`s in harvest right now at the Land (Living with the land). The 2nd time around was much better. We got the 1st car so we are on top of the world.. Love it !

After Soarin` just like what Pooh Bear had said we are all feeling 11:00 O`Clockish, time to find something sweet! We geared toward the World Showcase for our 1st stop! Florida !! Some shrimp with the Blue Fish Riesling, which was a great combination delish Wine for a nice hot day! I must have drank a whole bottle by the time got to Canada. Had Mexican wine, Italian wine which was super delish! It was around 3:00PM and we decided to go back to the hotel to take a nap and NO I am not drunk hahahaha.

Oct. 3rd dedicated for MK

As always we start our day at teh Crystal Palace. And after stuffing our face with lots of food I finally noticed this lady next to our table, she has been checking me out NOt!!!! She was from the boards and she was from UK that I have been sending lime green mickey heads via email. It was great! Finally a face to a name ! Today being the last day at the park we basically took a lesuirely phase. Potsie did get to ride DUMBO and I think she liked it since she plan to ride it again next time. After watching Spectro magic and cried over the Wishes Fireworks... off we go back to PoP. Left mom and Potsie in the room packing while I hang out with my Dis Pals again till the weeeee hours of the nite! It was fun!

Oct 4th...

Everything`s ready grab a quick bite at DTD with the Earl... and finally bid goodbye to the mouse.

Sept 28th into the 29th

Ok here it is !!! My Trip Report from our recent trip to the Promise Land. My vacation started a day early when I was able to coheres my supervisor to give me the day off on the 28th. Well!!! Did I start getting ready then ? Nope! Instead me and Potsie went out shopping (after CHAtting on the phone from someone in NC)! Finally at 6PM Thursday we decided to go home since Potsie still need to go to work at 10PM. So here I am at home staring at all the unfinished projects and decided to surf my regular sites !!! I have about 5 hours I have a lot of time ! In and out I was on the net and finally 5AM on the 29th came. Voila I don’t know how I did it but I did. Off to the airport we go. Checking in was easy. We checked in our 2 rolling luggage and off we grab a corner sit to take a snooze. After a couple of hours of waiting and wondering why we have not bordered but no explanation was given or told. Also while waiting we have 2 or 3 families who looks like they are also headed to the Promise Land, their kids still on pj pals and carrying Disney Princess totes or backpacks. My DISney radar was on. I really wanted to take a pic of one of the mothers who kept on grabbing her son`s arm. I know I don`t have room to say anything for I don`t have a child of my own but so far I have been good raising my niece and nephew that all it takes is one look for them to behave. One child kicking the younger brother and the dad thought this was funny. One mom keep on complaining about having to much people on this flight. Finally the pilot came and we boarded. Yey!! Me and Potsie were both on aisle sits. Not bad.. Not bad at all. Now came the seat mates! Arrgghhhh my seat mates where a family of three. A mother, a father and a 6 months old (at least) baby! It is their 1st born, you would know right away just by looking on how they handle the child. Wipe here, wipe there, hug here, hug there which was great. Mind you I was looking forward to getting in my sit and taking a nap since we also have the MNSSHP that night so I would like to get all the naps I can before I go trick or treating have mercy on the diabetic patient. So up we went, fixed my pillow and grab my mp3 and closed my eyes. A couple of minutes later the baby was also napping, I said great they are going to rest too! WRONG!!! As soon as the baby goes to la la land the mommy wakes the baby up !?! WHY ?? WHY ?? Why would you wake up a baby who is sleeping! I don`t have an answer. Counted 1,2,3 and turned the volume louder. About 1 hour into the flight the mommy needed to go pee which is a natural thing..... hang in there, there is a happy part in this TR... I hope, so up I stand and wait, as she was coming back she opened the overhead bins to grab her lap top, and books and more stuff. Cannot sit yet since all the stuff she unloaded was on my sit. Finally we really have to sit down since the cart is also waiting to serve us our peanuts and pop! Whew, thank God for peanuts! As the flight stewardess was handing pop and peanuts she realized the lap top was on. She explained to my seat mate that lap top is not allowed right now due to orange alert was up. Never heard this but hey if I was told I would do so to close it and put it away, but they had to argue about it for a good few minutes. Back to Frankie and Andy = Frank Sinatra and Andy Williams. Finally we landed at MCO I was ready to kiss the ground! The fun begins! Called dmom on her cel and told her get on the tram and it will take you straight to MK. She panicked, it is her 1st time at MCO sorry had to do it.... and she replied... I do not have anything but my luggage and the tickets are with you. So finally Potsie explained that we`ll be waiting for her as soon as she get out of the tram. Claimed our checked in luggage and off to look for the shuttle for Enterprise. Got the car and even got a free upgrade from neon to cobalt which was a blessing on our last day. We added 2 big gym bags for souvenirs on our way out from POP. Before going to the hotel we stop by at PUBLIX for some much needed personal hygiene stuff. Now we arrive at POP. Long lines at around noonish of the 29th. Rooms where not ready so we were given an 800 number to call at 3PM for our room number, which was ok since check in is really at 3Pm and we have Whispering Canyon Cafe ADR at 2:40PM and was sitted at 1:00PM since it was not really busy . We tried to trick "The Whistler" to order ice tea but since we were early she already had seen the ice tea trick and ketchup trick. Our CMs were really great esp`ly Matt ! They were a blast! Lunch was great everybody were full, we had to skip dessert and now we`re ready to check in. Called at around 2:45PM and their 1st response was "call at 3:30PM we are still drying the carpets in the room". So ok we went and check out the icons around POP since this was our 1st time at POP. Then I called back and got "Well check in is not till 4:00PM" and they hang up without a bye. Finally called again at 4:00PM no hello no nothing just hanged up. I was really getting agitated since also Svetlana decided to come a week early and tag along on our trip so no swimming at the Typhoon Lagoon for me or any pool unless I decided to make a scene, to much FYI I know but had to throw that in.... and finally went back in at the front desk and begged one of the CM for a room any room, and when she checked, she said the room has been ready since 3PM. Ok, I have been to ASMusic 1 to many times and never had this problem , Jazz Inn Bldg here I come. After dragging and searching for the room we finally found 6164 of the *eight track bldg*. And yes... there are elevators in POP Century and those ICONS are only for attraction. After unpacking and taking off the POP preferred comforters and taking a nice cold shower off we went to attend MNSSHP.

to be continued.....
