BUGALA!!! Slang for Bulaga!

It has been a month since I jotted down some notes and apologies for that. Life has been a blur this past month, a good blur though. Let me see, what happened the past 30 some days… basically it was consumed by work, play and sleep. There is nothing I can complain about that. Nobody`s sick in our team players, ME, POTSIE and of course JACK! In the middle of the month we went to see POTSIE`S mom and dad in Chicago. That was fun. Short and sweet! The best descriptions for a trip like that. Maybe next time will go back and visit my `watering hole`, sure would to see it again just to sit there and bask in the sweet ray of the Chicago sun. After we came back from the windy city we called our family in NC and had convinced them to see us! So yes there you go another trip to look forward to! But before that I need to survive my Thanksgiving weekend first. I wish I can just get in tune but I really don`t feel that the holidays are just around the corner. Help! Well I am working Thanksgiving Day but after that I have 3 whole days off. I know we`re getting the tree no problem with that but after that… Help! I just need to find a way to shake this black moss enveloping my holiday spirit and mind you caffeine can`t help either! Mama Mia! Well to all if it will take me another month to sit here and chat. I wish you all a Peaceful and Stress free Holiday!

PS Jack turned 21 human years last Novemebr 4,2005 And thank you for all the birthday wishes now he said where are the nuts ? LOL

need some soothing tea after tis trip...

We are back!!!Who went: Mrs. Pots(me) and Potsie(my bday gal)
When: Sept. 23 to Oct 1, 2005

Sept. 23: Got to Florida late Friday. Did not get the requested room we have but still OK where she (CM = not to happy, maybe because it’s almost time for her to go home and all she can see is a sea of happy Disney fanatics… sometimes that can give anybody a headache you know!) had put us. At the Jazz Inn close to the parking lot, ground floor. Another quiet corner of ASMu since everybody was at the Calypso or Broadway, so cannot complain about that. We have Brenda for our Mousekeeper. Really young mousekeeper, no towel artwork BUT keeps the room clean and clean towels were overflowing (that was great!). After we rested we got ready to take the bus to DTD for a bite to eat at Earl of Sandwich. Bus ride was a bit crazy but we survived! Potsie and I had a different order of sandwich so we can split half and get to taste everything. The Dining Plan was AWESOME = a lot of food! After our scrumptious dinner we hop skip to the Gherardelli store for some sweet treats. I had to refrain in going in the marketplace since it is only our 1st night!

Sept. 24: Yes we did get the Mickey Shampoo Bottles this time in our room, I was expecting a dispenser at the tiled bathroom wall since thats what we had last April at the Rockin Inn Bldg. Took our shower got dress and called Enterprise for our rental (economy size for $133 for the whole week a good value I can say). After picking up the car we went back to DTD for more sandwiches and then off to see Flight Plan at AMC P.I. (sound crazy but only when I am on vacation I get to go to see a movie in the theater). A lot of action, story line is not that mind bugling! After the movies off to our 1st table service at the Whispering Canyon. Everything you read about it were true. If you ask for ketchup they bring one to many bottles, if you ask for refill for your drink they bring you a bucket. Food was great and the never-ending milkshakes was awesome. Only thing we encounter that stuck in our mind was the family next to us consisting of a mother a father and 3 kids. Parents were enjoying their meal while kids run around like crazy; even the server was starting to have a distorted face in trying to accommodate those kids without loosing their job. Tip was included in the plan but MYSTERY MAN our server was great, the same one who was very patient to our next table family, they get 15% and we just add a little more to make it 25%. Also stopped by at the Pop Century for my 1st fairy Drop off (nothing special nor expensive just a simple token of happiness)

Sept.25: Sunday, late morning for us. Since we were a day early from our original plan we were a bit discombobulated. Finally after dilly-dallying we decided to see AKL. Before anything else we have to eat. Ate at the Flame Tree ( I agree one counter service is good enough for 2 guest), had the BBQ pulled beef sandwich and salad a bottle of water, an order of soda with cake and frozen lemonade. Then off to see Tarzan Rocks for the last time since by the time we go back they might be gone. After dancing with Turk off to see the Bugs Life again and again and again. Saw Mickey, Minnie, Pooh , Eeyore and Tigger. After all our paparazzi instinct were satisfied we go back to DTD we walk some more to scout for more postcards to mail. It was almost 6:00PM time to go back to the hotel to freshen up since we are due at O hana at 7:45PM to see cousin Lipoa and cousin Carlos ( another great server). No complains with the food, almost the same menu the shrimp is now cooked with teriyaki sauce delicious! At 8:00PM the lights were dimmed since the Wishes fireworks started and yes the music is still piped in. after dinner we walked around and then we went back to the Hotel to catch some zzz.

P.S. Brief Encounter with Cousin Lipoa. It was nice to know they still remember you even after a couple of months had passed by.

Sept. 26: Monday, the day we save for MK. Woke up and checked the weather channel to see if we need to bring our PONCHOS. From previous trips I carry the heavy-duty ponchos and golf umbrellas but hey this time I wing it with a small one and thank goodness we did not need to use it at all. Got coffee with our free refill at the food court and grab some ice for my timmy tummy cup and off we go. After grabbing the map to locate where the counter services are we headed straight to Noodle Station. We never pay any attention to this corner since back then we are so focused to go to the Cool Station. We were one of the few 1st one who took advantage of their specialties. I had the Lo Mien, Choco Cake, a bottle of water and pot stickers for appetizer. My sister had the Noodle Soup ( sorry I forgot the name but it was good too since we share our food), fried rice for appetizer, ginger crème Brule and a big and I mean they gave her B I G cup of soda. So now lunch is out of the day off to see Philharmagic, Dumbo, Small World, the Three Great mountains, Haunted Mansion, a picture here a picture there. Then back to main street to check out the shops. Temperature was a lil high that we needed a scoop of Vanilla ice cream each. After all this activities it was only about 2:00PM. Can you tell ? We did not have a long wait at all in any of the rides. The most was at Astro Orbiter for about 15 minutes. But it was not bad since I was busy chit chatting with a girl named Kaileen. Apparently it was her 1st time to be in this ride and was a bit concern. We assure her that there is nothing to worry and grab my magic wand (bubble Minnie wands that I give out to any kid) and told her that if she ever feel anything to just blow her fear away. Well at the end she did not need to blow anything out. She did great! So, after we realize that we have a couple of hours before dinner we decided to go back to the hotel and take a nap for an hour which was a very long hour. A couple of hours later we finally got back to MK to have dinner at the CP around 7:00PM. By the time we are done it was just in time for the Wishes Fireworks and we got the best sit in the house. My sister did enjoy our chosen spot for this was the 1st time we tried it close and personal. But in my case I was busy playing with my new friends. I grab lighted fan and hand it out to my little friends who were already restless after their long day. That kept them happy and so with there parents I think. One mother even offered her kid for me to take home, which I know she was just kidding. Very magical way to end our night at MK.

P.S. We saw Abdella aka Abe aka LaLa again at the CP and he seems happy to see us also! Yes, he remembered us from April, where sat and ate! Awesome!

Sept. 27: Tuesday. Today was supposed to be our AK day again. Instead we hit Blizzard Beach. This was our 1st time here. It was not to busy which was great. We did the lazy river pool (I don’t have my list of names please excuse my ignorance) and the wave pool. No water slides for me since prior to our trip I was in a mild car accident and afraid that I might aggravate my neck. When we turned prunie it was our cue to go home and relax before we go have our dinner at Boma and then to see Cirque Du Soliel. This was a new experience for me. After seeing the commercial of Alegria ( touring Cirque Du Soliel who was ones in Philadelphia) I was a bit leery in seeing any show. But Anne had longed to see it so I finally gave in and I was glad that I did. It was a great show (except for the part where I fell asleep when they are running back in forth in the window of a bldg). After the show we walk a bit more and window-shopped. Somewhere in all this schedule we did our lunch at the Earl of Sandwich again.

Sept.28: Wednesday is a good day. We started our day heading straight to Soarin. We were a bit curious and did not know how to act by the time we got to the end of our line. We were lucky enough to get to row number 1. It was so real, you can smell the ocean when we pass trough it, oranges when we pass the orange groves and felt like touching the clouds when we were soaring! We wanted to do it again but the line got a bit longer so off to the innovations to have our picture taken with Mickey courtesy of Bank One Visa. A great one on one, I know we get met and have our picture taken anywhere at the park but this time you get to really take your time, practice your smile with no pressure and hug Mickey and Goofy or whoever was there as much as you want! Thanks Bank One! Off to lunch at the world showcase, Dessert in Japan kakigori of course and some Milky bar in UK. Since there is nothing else we can think to do here at EPCOT we hop skip to Typhoon Lagoon! This was my favorite between 2 water parks. More shades while your floating your time away. And a bigger wave pool. Potsie even tried the snorkeling thing and she enjoyed it so much she did it 3x. In my case I do not know how to swim so I just watched patiently and scout some lifeguards!!! By the time we are both toasted we went back to ASMu took a quick shower and off to dinner at the 1900 Park Fare. We met the fairy Godmother and sad to say I was not able to bribe her with some candy to turn Anne into a pumpkin! Food was great, I whispered to Percy that it was Potsie's bday on Friday can she turn her into a pretty princess even for one day but instead she gave her a delicious cup cake, a signed place mat by all of the character there and a C R O W N !! Her own crown!!! Mind you Potsie is not the girlie girl but she was so excited to wear that crown! Thanks Percy and Pearl!!! OK we have some minutes to kill till we head back to EPCOT for our Illumination Dessert Party. This was very stressful for me since the weather turned UGLY on us. I have 23 other Diser who are joining us for this gathering and the Mother Nature decided to PMS arrgggg…. After a series of calls to our rep for the party I marched myself to the entrance of UK at the World Showcase. After praying to all the gods I know and have heard off.... the fireworks went of with out a hitch. But since there was gusty winds we were not able to have our dessert the same time as the fireworks but instead was directed to the lounge of Spaceship Earth! Kinda neat since I was never inside of any of this bldg other than last April when we did the Segway tour. After meeting each and everyone and thank god they were nice enough not to kill me I can say that the night did end well. Went back to the hotel and finally got a very peaceful couple of zzz.

Sept. 29: Thursday, Woke up a bit late since after we got back from EPCOT Wednesday night, got back at the hotel and have to prepare my goody bags for Friday. And also I have a couple of drop off this day for my little friends who were arriving this day. I have 3 stop Pop, CR tower and ASMo. By the time I left the Front Desk of Several Disney Resorts/Hotel they are on first name basis relationship with me already. After brunch we went to DTD finally to shop this time. I have restrained myself for almost a week now I cannot stay away any longer. I also got my free Kelloggs pin and bought more pins and also got my 1st OWN cup of Sundae at Gherardelli! After satisfying myself with souvenir shopping we decided to go back to Typhoon lagoon one last time. Spent the rest of the afternoon floating away. After a couple of hours just sitting at the edge of the wave pool we then got ready to go home and Potsie had her own drop off goody bags. Tinker bell must have known that it was her bday that she sent her a bouquet of balloons and I think she really liked it. Dinner was served at the food court. And also this was laundry night. And after washing all our sorrows away (since we are contemplating already about our trip back home) off to bed we went.

Sept: 30 Friday! Today is the Official Bday and we are celebrating it at the opening of Food and Wine Festival at EPCOT. We had an early start. We started from Mexico to UK (pictures to follow to all the countries we have stopped by. It was one feastful day from Mexican Chicken wrap, Sa Cha in China,Kakigori and Tuna roll in Japan, Cranberry salad somewhere, some creamy pastry in another corner and to make it more crazy we had lunch ADR at Tepanyaki where Potsie got a delicious bday cake and a chefs hat! They were great (picture to follow)! There was nobody at the World Showcase that we finished it by 2:00PM which was fine since the temperature was starting to rise! We just headed back to the hotel to prep up our costumes and goody bags for my 20 little pals! I was Mrs. Pots and Potsie had this big Jack S. hat with her - I am your worst nightmare - shirt, and yes she can be your worst nightmare sometimes! Time has come to go get some candy. It was maddening, MK decided to just run one ferry from the ticketing station to MK and it took us 20 minutes before we got on one. My apologies to those that I was supposed to meet at 7:30PM, by the time we got to the park the parade(and met alot of Diser Mom and Kids )was setting up and to many obstacle to get to the front of the Castle (but I did stay in front of the castle till 10:30PM). And then we went trick or treating and had our pictures taken. It was a bit crowded than last year (I think), which we also attended the 1st day. And less candy this time. After a series of pictures we then realize that we are now tired and to not experience again the stampede of guest we took flight at 11:30PM.By the time we got back at the hotel it was marathon packing since we are checking out Saturday AM.

Oct. 1 Saturday. I would skip this part. This is were the magical express became UNmagical and I had to make my own magic costing me an arm and a leg to get my Magical Checker cab Express . .
~ The End ~

P.S. now we start from scratch again... Scouting for PIN Codes, bargains and more Discounts till we re set to go back again. Thank you for taking the time to read. Pictures to follow.

What kind of tea can help you ease your mind... tell me...

9-11-05 What were you doing 4 years ago? What did you do today? I have a not so happy experience at 12:30 AM when I was side swept by a RED SUV maybe a Ford or a Chevy model 90s. What made me so mad was I was not able to practice what I have been preaching to all my friends and family Presence of Mind. I was able to get out of the car and listen to His (Mid 20 Male Caucasian) his song and dance and even shake his hands and introduced himself as CHRISTIAN. Next thing I know he flea the crime scene. Maybe if it were daylight he would have not had the chance to do that. I tried to chase him but by the time I got on the ramp going towards route 1 I finally lost him since the highway forked to route one and Baltimore Pike. Now how many times I reran the scenario in my mind I have so many if only I listened to myself, if only I had my guard on and did not trust anybody I would have been suspicious enough from the moment I got out and demanded the insurance card and his license, if only I did not have faith in other human being that they have the same values that I have. That if the table was turned around I would not drive away but instead make sure the other party was ok and do the right thing. When I cannot do anything anymore about the situation I went back to Dennys at route 352 to meet with the State Trooper that the 911 operators had connected me to. He was nice enough to talk to me and helped me calm down. I know there was nothing they can do at that point but buzz the rest of the troopers for the description of the RED Truck. Flashback: he must have not acquired much damage since my car only came halfway the height of his vehicle but his paint left a nice mark on my car. Wishful thinking: How I was I can afford to pay for the things that they do at the TV series CSI New York. The Trooper did scrape some of the paint and so he can have a color to base his result and I guess he felt bad and he did say that they do try to capture people who do things like this. I hope I am one of the lucky ones who he can help. At this point I have accepted the fact that I am using my insurance to fix my car that I need to come up with the deductible, that my Insurance will go a notch higher to what I am paying now. But why do I want him caught? Because what he did was wrong. Because I don’t want anybody to experience what happened to me. Because people like him makes the insurance business crazy. Because people like him can make someone learn how to hate, be leery and untrusting regardless of RACE and COLOR.

I was stopped waiting to go, I did not want to cause and accident but accident found me.
And now I don’t understand how he can be where he is right now leading his life like nothing happened.

Now when I go to the mall, to work or anywhere. I will be watching. Paranoia can be your friend; it helps your senses UP.

9-11-05 Red SUV Ford/Chevy model 90s. Mid 20s Caucasian about 5-6 to 5-11 with clean-cut hair. Scene of the Crime Ramp from route 1 going to route 352 South Bound.

I hope you had a peaceful 9-11-05
Thank you for taking the time in reading and letting me vent. No tea can calm you down when this happens to you. Well that is how I feel about it right now.

how was your LAbor Day weekend....

Mine was very productive I think... Saturday morning we went to drop off our water collection at the National Guard in Vineland,NJ and that was a very good feeling. We wish we could have brought more. After our good deed for the day we went straight to the Korean BBQ Restaurant in Mt. Holly Yummy!!! Then off to the market next door. Fish, Hopia, Chippy, SPanish Bread etc. etc. etc. Thank God for the rented truck we were able to haul our grocery back home. That afternoon I got busy prep'ing for the cook out we're having Sunday! That was a feast! Again we had the fish that we bought earlier, Chicken and Beef BBQ, seasoned mackerel ( this was the highlite of our lunch Sunday!). Even if we did not get our usual spot at the Ridley Creek State Park we did end up in another good location ( next to a big dumpster!!! hehehehe ). After we got home we started our knitting and movie marathon... here are the titles of the stuff I saw this weekend... "Crash" .... then "Smile" .... and still trying to finish season 1 of "Lost" now you tell me some kind of title huh!

while waiting for that tea to cool down....

It has been 10 days since I last posted. I should be dancing with joy since there’s only 23 more days till vacation comes! But after seeing the gas prices and the news about Katrina, I don’t feel like shouting Hooray. As I was brain storming ( hopefully better than Katrina), I found a couple of way to extend help one is with my neighbors here in the cable land and one is maybe with Red Cross. Please I strongly suggest that we extend some help. It does not have to be outrageous. There’s alot we can do. Small things can do wonders.

Pouring Java left and Right !!!

Hey!! Remember me ??? Yes Me??? I know it has been awhile since I jotted some notes. Sorry been tied with work and have committed to so much activities that my world is spinning faster than it should. After the S.O.S. weekend everything went downhill but honestly it was not all bad! I am stuck with Adeline and Advert ( my two new instrument at work, and yes I do name my instrument like everyone else... what kind of instrument they have ?? I don't know... mine is for my livelihood... to keep me Lively ), they are just in a getting to know you mode so it does get cranky most of the times that would need alot of attention. And also we are busy planning Potsie's upcoming birthday. Yes, I know, to some of you going back to the World would be just an ordinary thing by now. But to the crazy few like US we need time to plot every single move we are going to do down there . First, I am organizing an Illumination Dessert Gathering/Party at Epcot with some my new peeps( Potsie says am in a WDW Cult and am one of the ring leader hahahahahah). This party will be for 20 or more and it is a spread of (as in EAT ALL YOU CAN need I say more ) Dessert in your own terrace.. ours will be located at the UPPER Terrace in UK,WorldShowcase.. while watching the Illumination. I know Potsie is looking forward to this since now she will not have to spread herself on the ground like waiting for the whole Eagles Football team to converge with her hahahahaha. Then off to our Mickey's Not So Scary Hallooween 2, still debating if I am going as myself Mrs Pots or change my persona for the day... I have Kimora Lee Simmons designing my Lilo outfit (yeah right hahahaha), a yellow and a red Hawaiian Dress. And also we are randomly choosing kids for some goody bags on top of the goody bag we have to bring for all our favorite CM at the restaurant. So that's how I am managing stress right now.... by reminding myself "if you plan it .. it will be fun". What else, been busy shopping for stuff.. I have accepted the fact that I will be always be HEALTHY so might as well shop for a new wardrobe !!! And yes!!! The clock is ticking till we are North carolina Bound!!! Yey!!! Time to see some family!!! Cha, ready for the BBQ ??? 'coz Potsie is ready for you and the grill!!! Well now it's time for me to call my Event caterer (sounds formal huh)!!! Have a good weekend Guys!! Don't do anything I wouldn't Do

Can't even find a time for a cup of tea...Now that is Sad!

It has been awhile since I can truly say I had a very relaxing day! If my memory serves me right it was when we did our Star Wars Weekend. After that everything went downhill. The 1st week of June was very stressful since I was still hoping that I need NOT to go for the Basic Training of our new Advia120 in Tarrytown,NY. Then in-laws would be coming in the same day I start my class in NY and worrying about Potsie on how is she going to handle this by herself. At the end I still had to go which now I realize was a GOOD thing ! Potsie was nice enough to drop me off in NY Sunday June 5th after coming from another work but again this work schedule is by choice don't get me wrong! And on Monday morning off she go... back to Pa to finish her loose ends cleaning. ! 1st day of class was calm. There were 12 students in our session and half of us had hands on already which made the instructors life very easy... so they say! After breaking the ice at around 10AM which was our second meal of the day already!!! I started to loosen up and let my guard down a little. The Hotel was great I have 2 queen size beds all to myself. Starbucks 24/7 from caffe latte to all the tazo tea I want yum!!! Eating like a pig never made me feel this guilty hahahahahah so I started my day with a 30 minute walk at the mill (honestly I just wanted to try the Hotel's work out room) shuttle bus pick us up at the hotel at 7:30AM which was early but I guess it's OK since you saturate yourself with all the food and caffeine they offer you. And that's all I did for 4 days... eat... drink and be merry and learn a little bit :o) Wednesday night Potsie and her mom came, since class ends on Thursday PM. Thursday was OK, after class we head straight to the OUTLETS got a couple of good buys and went back to NJ to pick up Potsie's dad. From their.... off to AC,NJ we go... Checked in at the Taj Mahal .. again for a very DECENT PRIZE :o) and was planning to head back down to the Casino at around 3 Am but never woke up. So we just waited till we checked out and then did a little leap Frog'ing. On our way back to Pa we have so many plans like fishing, picnic etc. But Potsie was beat and so am I and so we just ended up taking the folks to King of Prussia for more shopping not for US but for Cherry, Potsies sister who is in SD,Ca (needed to clear thatr in the air if you kow what I mean!). Sunday came and off to Chinatown for some Dim Sum. Some Photo APS and off we go back to our humble home since Pots have to go to work that night. Monday the 13th mom and dad are flying out of PHL at 1PM. I know this got Potsie sad but what else can we do ? Thank God Potsie have the SOS to look forward too that night. Went home took a nap so we'll have energy to consume at the much awaited CONCERT. Left the house at 4PM, stopped at Cookie Corner had some soup and sandwich. It was way to hot to be outside and so we killed some time in the restaurant. Around 6PM we head back to the venue and waited..... bless their soul they let us in at the bar to wait. All in all the night was great and Potsie danced her heart out! I was glad. And now I look forward to next weekend where I am OFF Friday and Saturday and can recoup all those busy bee lines I did. For now I must end this for I am running late with work AGAIN ;o(

Tea ?? No time for Tea... what consumed my Memorial Weekend....

Ok I know to some this would sound stupid or even a disgrace to my generation... But you have to understand when "The Empire Strikes Back" came about I was just uprooted to a place where I had been calling home since I opened my eyes. it has only been a few months and I was still learning not one but two language.. my native tongue and English if I want to be admitted in school....The movie came and went... And I was homesick and hated the place where I was. A couple of years later ...When "The Return of the Jedi" came... My brother and his friend was stuck baby sitting me which mean I had to come along. I was bribed with popcorn, candies and soft drinks (how primitive if you look back no such thing as soda nor pop.. It was soft drinks in a plastic bag since my brother did not want to pay a deposit for the bottle of soda). I have all the excuses so I can go out of the theater.. no more candy, no more drink and had to pee a million times. Once back in the movie house ( yes thats what we call it back then ) I was looking at my brother and friends.. How stupid they look for crying over a dying green doll and a black ugly robot (which now I found out one of my favorite guy.. The Verizon Man ). Years past... And I never look back... Manage to ignore the growing craze about Star Wars. Two episode came about and still did not really got into it. I somehow manage to escape the radar. And now we have Episode III, OK I think it's about time I really sit down and try to understand why I had gone for hunting Star Wars item for friends for gifts and token of appreciation, why it was a must, why Star Wars item was the super special true gift they can ever receive. I was not doing anything this memorial Weekend so might as well waste it in vegetating and watching those Robots. I started my journey with Episode I, interesting... The boy was cute thats about it... More popcorn more excuses not to finish it but then there's that thing now known as "Pause:" and "Play"no excuse this time. Sat down and finally finished it. It was interesting, it had sunk in. This is what my brother was looking forward too, my Potsie getting excited about games. On to Episode II.. I was still in denial... I said.. I am watching itcozI like Ewan McGregor and I was upset that Liam Neeson died they might bring him back plus I like the boy too who played the young Anakin. No more popcorn this time no other sound and was holding my pee, I have to find out what's going to happen with Anakin, he have grown as cocky as a Cow dung!!! After unanswered question... Grab my jeans and Potsie and off to the theater( movie house I think was the term ) no soda in a plastic bag but nice Diet Coke with Splenda, no pop corns but instead some Pretzel with nacho cheese and raisinets. Just sitting there in the dark waiting for the show had brought tears in my eyes. I am OLD !!!! Time had changed. And I bought my own ticket this time and nobody had to twist my arm but instead I almost twisted someones arm.. A kid.. Since he doesn't really know why people are going crazy over this movie and was busy text messaging in his cell phone . After seeing the turn of events with Episode III it was not enough.... Now I had to go home and watch it all over again.... From Stars Wars the beginning... The Empire Strikes back and Finally where I started decades ago... The Return of the Jedi..... It was a very rewarding feeling... Now I know how it feels, Now I am One with the Force.. It was truly magical.

tea of the month.... TAzo Calm love it love it love it...

this was a free tea bag that had picked up and gave it to me... been looking for it but only Starbucks carry it then... I then found the greet tea... also by Tazo at pathmark and like that too.. Finally !! Calm is now being sold at my Pathmark... ohhh very calming.. very soothing.... We have two things that we are going to chat about this morning.. unless I remember something else.... First I am very proud of myself... yes I am giving myself an A+ and I hope Potsie was not just saying it to make me feel good... Anyway.. last night we decided not to go to the Korean Market on Wednesday morning since it's going to rain and might have trouble in driving back and getting to work on time, so I just decided to cook something.. orig'ly I was planning to tackle bistik (beef steak Pinoy style) but as I was shopping for meat at 1AM I saw this cubed cut beef,,, it said serloin beef for fondue recipes... never saw this before.. and it was on sale too so can't pass the sale I bought about 4 packs... got home and don't know what to do with it.... Suddenly I had a dream :o) BOPIS!!!! I never tasted Bopis, never cooked it nor have the recipe for it... so hey.. Let me check the internet I said to myself.. and Voila.. there's that recipe!!! Again if you really know me I never follow the step by step process of a recipe.. I just like to see what are the ingredients... after a serious reading I mixed and matched....while waiting for it to be cooked.. I also made Tinola with sayote chicken wings.. that I had no problem... Finally I said this is it am done... turn off the stove wash up and went to bed around 3AM.... Potsie came home.. ate breakfast.. and there you go.. she did say it does taste like Bopis!!! Yehey!!! I did it again! Ok.. the next topic is way to far off about food this is about a lifetime movie that is already out on DVD Titled "Gracie's Choice" base on a true story, you have the need to cry you have to watch this movie it is really good and will touch your heart that you would wanna go out and do a good a deed! Another movie we saw was Subject Zero... great movie.. a lil flat on the ending but still a good movie...And about "Flight of the Phoenix" We have tried to watch this movie but if I am going to convince myself to fly soon... I think we really need to just not watch this movie... if you know what I mean.. well off to seeing "The Aviator" will tell you what happend ...toddles...

Urge for coffee...

Ok the weekend is almost here...8 more hours of HARD work and off to the TAMBAKAN... And the weekend is going to be yukky per the weather guy but then what do they really know. Thinking about the span of time that I will be waiting is really making me feel so restless... 4 months 1 week ... till we celebrate Potsie's Bday and MNSSHP. In a way it's great since I have not found the perfect costume. Last year was great! I was Mrs. Pots for real! And even the CMs at the park was amazed... and was ready to ask for autographed too I got so much hugs from the kids ... love that the most! BTW I just found the roll of film used last Trick or Treat 2004 with my 2 out of 3 favorite kids Dodong and Carengkeng!!! Purdoy was with us at the park so you know we have lots of pictures. Ok.. On to the movies.... I saw "The Final Cut"( story line stayed on about a guy who cuts bad memory in someone's past by using a chip that was embedded at the diseased... You might think that in a way this is happening now. I saw my friends husband funeral where they had a wide screen outside the chapel showing how happy and alive his past was with all his baby pictures to adulthood.. Just thinking about it.. Creepy) some may say its boring and unrealistic but I liked it and it was so ironic since after that movie I then pop in Neverland ( story is based from the life of the author and maker of Peter Pan... Genius work !!!) which was the exact opposite era of The Final Cut, that I like too, it even got me crying. Hmmmm now weekend is here and have to get ready for another movie marathon. Dear folks...it's Friday the 13th... Be safe and be well.... till next tea time...

I really need a cup of tea...

Ok... I better start watching what I eat. For some reason I have not unplugged the vaca mode and still eating to my hearts delight. Just like now as soon as I got home I grab the left over paksiw na Salmon courtesy of Potsie and not stopping I move on to eating more Cheez it thanks to Star Wars we have 2 boxes at home, they are giving free poster if you send 2 UPC of Cheez it and Potsie being the ChewDbaka fan I had to buy some !!! As I was eating the Cheez it I remember that I have some ground beef waiting to be cook and if I put it in the freezer it will just end up in the trash can weeks from now so what the heck I did surgery with the S'gettie from a friend and made some more sauce Voila!!! taste like freshly made heheheh. Ok.. Let's go check movies... You know how much I D O N ' T like J.Lo but I love Susan Sarandon so I had to watch "Shall we Dance". Now I need someone's input here. In the feed back pages of this movie they have stated that Richard Gere did not cheat, was not cheating, was not doing anything wrong blah..blah..blah.. But in what I saw what he did I considered cheating. His explanation to Sue (the wife in the movie Susan S) that the reason why he was not able to tell her was because he don't want to hurt that SOMEONE whom he really love.... Like how can he say... he wants to be happier and he will be happier if he learn how to dance ??? So what was that about where he looks at J.Lo Lustingly ( if there is just a word.. no there's no such thing )???? that is cheating !! and to top it all HE DID NOT tell Sue and Lied about his whereabouts ! So.. What do you think ??? ok.. I am going to make that tea before I hit the bed and I expect you ponder on this !! What is cheating really and Did he cheat ??? I'll be waiting for you thoughts...

while I was brewing my tea I found this online and have to share it with you

A Filipino applies for a Job at Wal-Mart: An office manager at Wal-Mart was given the task of hiring an individual to fill a job opening. After sorting through a stack of resumes he found four people who were equally qualified: an American, a Russian, an Australian and a Filipino. He decided to call the four in and ask them only one question. Their answer would determine which of them would get the job. The day came and as the four sat around the conference room table the interviewer asked, "What is the fastest thing you know of?" Acknowledging Dave, the American on his right, the man replied, "A THOUGHT." It just pops into your head. There's no warning that it's on the way; it's just there. A thought is the fastest thing I know of." "That's very good!" replied the interviewer. "And now you, sir?" he asked Vladimir, the Russian. "Hmm... let me see. A blink! It comes and goes and you don't know that it ever happened. A BLINK is the fastest thing I know of." "Excellent!" said the interviewer. "The blink of an eye, that's a very popular cliché for speed." He then turned to George, the Australian who was contemplating his reply. "Well, out at my dad's ranch, you step out of the house and on the wall there's a light switch. When you flip that switch, way out across the pasture the light in the barn comes on. Yep, TURNING ON A LIGHT is the fastest thing I can think of." The interviewer was very impressed with the third answer and thought he had found his man. "It's hard to beat the speed of light" he said. Turning to Eleuterio, the Filipino, the fourth and final man, the interviewer posed the same question. Eleuterio replied, "Apter herring da 3 frevyos ansers sirrr, et's obyus to me dat the fastest thang known is Diarrhea." "WHAT!?" said the interviewer, stunned by the response. "O I can expleyn serrr," said Eleuterio. "You see serr, da other day I wasn't peeeling so good and I run soo fast to the CR or bathroom, But, before I could THINK, BLINK, or TURN ON THE LIGHT, ay 'tang ina, I already had a big tae, ka-ka or poo-poo in my pants." Eleuterio is now the new "Greeter" at Wal-Mart

Hello..Hello..hello... I know... it took me 20 days or more before I got the energy to sit infront of the window to chit chat with you. Last time I was here I was getting ready to spend a grand time in the WORLD. Well, that really went well. We got to the WORLD with the best ever weather mind you I had a picture taken infront of Cindy's castle wearing denim jeans with no fan and no towel. The WORLD was a bit crazy than previous days but who am I to complain when I was savoring the 65 degree weather on top of that the rest of my family in the WORLD celebrated my birthday for the whole week. And you would think only Cindy has a week long Cinderellabration! Well Honey her party was nothing compared to mine. Cakes here and there, Pluto calling me left and right and oh my I was one minute a babe the next was a sweetie is that exciting or what! You would never get that reception with your real blood family! But that was only icing on the cake. We have two of our HUMAN family Cha and Lhey which made the Timmieday even more memorable! And don't forget the impromptu HULA dance of Potsie ohhh those hips did sway back and forth .. everything hanging loose hehehehe. Also we did the Segway Tour which was awesome (except for the charlie horse when I was stiff as a board) Robert and Larry the CM who helped us learn to Segway was great... BTW Pots don't forget to send Larry some pics I promised! I know I know.. I can't stop talking about how grand the week was. But I should stop here before I end up missing the BIG HOUSE and also do an impromtu trip. The Trip on June is canceled since Potsie's HUMAN family is coming over and on the same week I have to go to Nueba York to train for a week.. hmmm what a coingkie dink ... Movies.. let's talk about movies.... We just recently saw "Phantom of the Opera" the movie.... well it was OK... Potsie loved it .. me ... so..so.. my loyalty stays with the play but the movie is also worth watching it gives you and in depth point by point explanation and CHRISTINE wasnt pretty enough instead I enjoyed Carlotta's part which was played by Minnie driver. Hmm since we got back we must have seen about 5 to 6 movies but I can't remember it all right now. I am getting ready to see NATIONAL TREASURES they said that is good. Well I'll tell you as soon as finished watching it. But for now I need to mellow out. I am so hyper tonight since I had some regular TWININGS TEA courtesy of Potsie from the food counter of the WORLD thank God there was no counter Police ..... Till our next tea time....
