Can't even find a time for a cup of tea...Now that is Sad!

It has been awhile since I can truly say I had a very relaxing day! If my memory serves me right it was when we did our Star Wars Weekend. After that everything went downhill. The 1st week of June was very stressful since I was still hoping that I need NOT to go for the Basic Training of our new Advia120 in Tarrytown,NY. Then in-laws would be coming in the same day I start my class in NY and worrying about Potsie on how is she going to handle this by herself. At the end I still had to go which now I realize was a GOOD thing ! Potsie was nice enough to drop me off in NY Sunday June 5th after coming from another work but again this work schedule is by choice don't get me wrong! And on Monday morning off she go... back to Pa to finish her loose ends cleaning. ! 1st day of class was calm. There were 12 students in our session and half of us had hands on already which made the instructors life very easy... so they say! After breaking the ice at around 10AM which was our second meal of the day already!!! I started to loosen up and let my guard down a little. The Hotel was great I have 2 queen size beds all to myself. Starbucks 24/7 from caffe latte to all the tazo tea I want yum!!! Eating like a pig never made me feel this guilty hahahahahah so I started my day with a 30 minute walk at the mill (honestly I just wanted to try the Hotel's work out room) shuttle bus pick us up at the hotel at 7:30AM which was early but I guess it's OK since you saturate yourself with all the food and caffeine they offer you. And that's all I did for 4 days... eat... drink and be merry and learn a little bit :o) Wednesday night Potsie and her mom came, since class ends on Thursday PM. Thursday was OK, after class we head straight to the OUTLETS got a couple of good buys and went back to NJ to pick up Potsie's dad. From their.... off to AC,NJ we go... Checked in at the Taj Mahal .. again for a very DECENT PRIZE :o) and was planning to head back down to the Casino at around 3 Am but never woke up. So we just waited till we checked out and then did a little leap Frog'ing. On our way back to Pa we have so many plans like fishing, picnic etc. But Potsie was beat and so am I and so we just ended up taking the folks to King of Prussia for more shopping not for US but for Cherry, Potsies sister who is in SD,Ca (needed to clear thatr in the air if you kow what I mean!). Sunday came and off to Chinatown for some Dim Sum. Some Photo APS and off we go back to our humble home since Pots have to go to work that night. Monday the 13th mom and dad are flying out of PHL at 1PM. I know this got Potsie sad but what else can we do ? Thank God Potsie have the SOS to look forward too that night. Went home took a nap so we'll have energy to consume at the much awaited CONCERT. Left the house at 4PM, stopped at Cookie Corner had some soup and sandwich. It was way to hot to be outside and so we killed some time in the restaurant. Around 6PM we head back to the venue and waited..... bless their soul they let us in at the bar to wait. All in all the night was great and Potsie danced her heart out! I was glad. And now I look forward to next weekend where I am OFF Friday and Saturday and can recoup all those busy bee lines I did. For now I must end this for I am running late with work AGAIN ;o(

Tea ?? No time for Tea... what consumed my Memorial Weekend....

Ok I know to some this would sound stupid or even a disgrace to my generation... But you have to understand when "The Empire Strikes Back" came about I was just uprooted to a place where I had been calling home since I opened my eyes. it has only been a few months and I was still learning not one but two language.. my native tongue and English if I want to be admitted in school....The movie came and went... And I was homesick and hated the place where I was. A couple of years later ...When "The Return of the Jedi" came... My brother and his friend was stuck baby sitting me which mean I had to come along. I was bribed with popcorn,candies and soft drinks (how primitive if you look back no such thing as soda nor pop.. It was soft drinks in a plastic bag since my brother did not want to pay a deposit for the bottle of soda). I have all the excuses so I can go out of the theater.. no more candy, no more drink and had to pee a million times. Once back in the movie house ( yes thats what we call it back then ) I was looking at my brother and friends.. How stupid they look for crying over a dying green doll and a black ugly robot (which now I found out one of my favorite guy.. The Verizon Man ). Years past... And I never look back... Manage to ignore the growing craze about Star Wars. Two episode came about and still did not really got into it. I somehow manage to escape the radar. And now we have Episode III, OK I think it's about time I really sit down and try to understand why I had gone for hunting Star Wars item for friends for gifts and token of appreciation,why it was a must, why Star Wars item was the super special true gift they can ever receive. I was not doing anything this memorial Weekend so might as well waste it in vegetating and watching those Robots. I started my journey with Episode I, interesting... The boy was cute thats about it... More popcorn more excuses not to finish it but then there's that thing now known as "Pause:" and "Play"no excuse this time. Sat down and finally finished it. It was interesting, it had sunk in. This is what my brother was looking forward too, my Potsie getting excited about games. On to Episode II.. I was still in denial... I said.. I am watching itcozI like Ewan McGregor and I was upset that Liam Neeson died they might bring him back plus I like the boy too who played the young Anakin. No more popcorn this time no other sound and was holding my pee, I have to find out what's going to happen with Anakin, he have grown as cocky as a Cow dung!!! After unanswered question... Grab my jeans and Potsie and off to the theater( movie house I think was the term ) no soda in a plastic bag but nice Diet Coke with Splenda, no pop corns but instead some Pretzel with nacho cheese and raisinets. Just sitting there in the dark waiting for the show had brought tears in my eyes. I am OLD !!!! Time had changed. And I bought my own ticket this time and nobody had to twist my arm but instead I almost twisted someones arm.. A kid.. Since he doesn't really know why people are going crazy over this movie and was busy text messaging in his cell phone . After seeing the turn of events with Episode III it was not enough.... Now I had to go home and watch it all over again.... From Stars Wars the beginning... The Empire Strikes back and Finally where I started decades ago... The Return of the Jedi..... It was a very rewarding feeling... Now I know how it feels, Now I am One with the Force.. It was truly magical.

tea of the month.... TAzo Calm love it love it love it...

this was a free tea bag that had picked up and gave it to me... been looking for it but only Starbucks carry it then... I then found the greet tea... also by Tazo at pathmark and like that too.. Finally !! Calm is now being sold at my Pathmark... ohhh very calming.. very soothing.... We have two things that we are going to chat about this morning.. unless I remember something else.... First I am very proud of myself... yes I am giving myself an A+ and I hope Potsie was not just saying it to make me feel good... Anyway.. last night we decided not to go to the Korean Market on Wednesday morning since it's going to rain and might have trouble in driving back and getting to work on time, so I just decided to cook something.. orig'ly I was planning to tackle bistik (beef steak Pinoy style) but as I was shopping for meat at 1AM I saw this cubed cut beef,,, it said serloin beef for fondue recipes... never saw this before.. and it was on sale too so can't pass the sale I bought about 4 packs... got home and don't know what to do with it.... Suddenly I had a dream :o) BOPIS!!!! I never tasted Bopis, never cooked it nor have the recipe for it... so hey.. Let me check the internet I said to myself.. and Voila.. there's that recipe!!! Again if you really know me I never follow the step by step process of a recipe.. I just like to see what are the ingredients... after a serious reading I mixed and matched....while waiting for it to be cooked.. I also made Tinola with sayote chicken wings.. that I had no problem... Finally I said this is it am done... turn off the stove wash up and went to bed around 3AM.... Potsie came home.. ate breakfast.. and there you go.. she did say it does taste like Bopis!!! Yehey!!! I did it again! Ok.. the next topic is way to far off about food this is about a lifetime movie that is already out on DVD Titled "Gracie's Choice" base on a true story, you have the need to cry you have to watch this movie it is really good and will touch your heart that you would wanna go out and do a good a deed! Another movie we saw was Subject Zero... great movie.. a lil flat on the ending but still a good movie...And about "Flight of the Phoenix" We have tried to watch this movie but if I am going to convince myself to fly soon... I think we really need to just not watch this movie... if you know what I mean.. well off to seeing "The Aviator" will tell you what happend ...toddles...

Urge for coffee...

Ok the weekend is almost here...8 more hours of HARD work and off to the TAMBAKAN... And the weekend is going to be yukky per the weather guy but then what do they really know. Thinking about the span of time that I will be waiting is really making me feel so restless... 4 months 1 week ... till we celebrate Potsie's Bday and MNSSHP. In a way it's great since I have not found the perfect costume. Last year was great! I was Mrs. Pots for real! And even the CMs at the park was amazed... and was ready to ask for autographed too I got so much hugs from the kids ... love that the most! BTW I just found the roll of film used last Trick or Treat 2004 with my 2 out of 3 favorite kids Dodong and Carengkeng!!! Purdoy was with us at the park so you know we have lots of pictures. Ok.. On to the movies.... I saw "The Final Cut"( story line stayed on about a guy who cuts bad memory in someone's past by using a chip that was embedded at the diseased... You might think that in a way this is happening now. I saw my friends husband funeral where they had a wide screen outside the chapel showing how happy and alive his past was with all his baby pictures to adulthood.. Just thinking about it.. Creepy) some may say its boring and unrealistic but I liked it and it was so ironic since after that movie I then pop in Neverland ( story is based from the life of the author and maker of Peter Pan... Genius work !!!) which was the exact opposite era of The Final Cut, that I like too, it even got me crying. Hmmmm now weekend is here and have to get ready for another movie marathon. I really need a cup of tea...

Ok... I better start watching what I eat. For some reason I have not unplugged the vaca mode and still eating to my hearts delight. Just like now as soon as I got home I grab the left over paksiw na Salmon courtesy of Potsie and not stopping I move on to eating more Cheez it thanks to Star Wars we have 2 boxes at home, they are giving free poster if you send 2 UPC of Cheez it and Potsie being the ChewDbaka fan I had to buy some !!! As I was eating the Cheez it I remember that I have some ground beef waiting to be cook and if I put it in the freezer it will just end up in the trash can weeks from now so what the heck I did surgery with the S'gettie from a friend and made some more sauce Voila!!! taste like freshly made heheheh. Ok.. Let's go check movies... You know how much I D O N ' T like J.Lo but I love Susan Sarandon so I had to watch "Shall we Dance". Now I need someone's input here. In the feed back pages of this movie they have stated that Richard Gere did not cheat, was not cheating, was not doing anything wrong blah..blah..blah.. But in what I saw what he did I considered cheating. His explanation to Sue (the wife in the movie Susan S) that the reason why he was not able to tell her was because he don't want to hurt that SOMEONE whom he really love.... Like how can he say... he wants to be happier and he will be happier if he learn how to dance ??? So what was that about where he looks at J.Lo Lustingly ( if there is just a word.. no there's no such thing )???? that is cheating !! and to top it all HE DID NOT tell Sue and Lied about his whereabouts ! So.. What do you think ??? ok.. I am going to make that tea before I hit the bed and I expect you ponder on this !! What is cheating really and Did he cheat ??? I'll be waiting for you thoughts...

Hello..Hello..hello... I know... it took me 20 days or more before I got the energy to sit infront of the window to chit chat with you. Last time I was here I was getting ready to spend a grand time in the WORLD. Well, that really went well. We got to the WORLD with the best ever weather mind you I had a picture taken infront of Cindy's castle wearing denim jeans with no fan and no towel. The WORLD was a bit crazy than previous days but who am I to complain when I was savoring the 65 degree weather on top of that the rest of my family in the WORLD celebrated my birthday for the whole week. And you would think only Cindy has a week long Cinderellabration! Well Honey her party was nothing compared to mine. Cakes here and there, Pluto calling me left and right and oh my I was one minute a babe the next was a sweetie is that exciting or what! You would never get that reception with your real blood family! But that was only icing on the cake. We have two of our HUMAN family Cha and Lhey which made the Timmieday even more memorable! And don't forget the impromptu HULA dance of Potsie ohhh those hips did sway back and forth .. everything hanging loose hehehehe. Also we did the Segway Tour which was awesome (except for the charlie horse when I was stiff as a board) Robert and Larry the CM who helped us learn to Segway was great... BTW Pots don't forget to send Larry some pics I promised! I know I know.. I can't stop talking about how grand the week was. But I should stop here before I end up missing the BIG HOUSE and also do an impromtu trip. The Trip on June is canceled since Potsie's HUMAN family is coming over and on the same week I have to go to Nueba York to train for a week.. hmmm what a coingkie dink ... Movies.. let's talk about movies.... We just recently saw "Phantom of the Opera" the movie.... well it was OK... Potsie loved it .. me ... so..so.. my loyalty stays with the play but the movie is also worth watching it gives you and in depth point by point explanation and CHRISTINE wasnt pretty enough instead I enjoyed Carlotta's part which was played by Minnie driver. Hmm since we got back we must have seen about 5 to 6 movies but I can't remember it all right now. I am getting ready to see NATIONAL TREASURES they said that is good. Well I'll tell you as soon as finished watching it. But for now I need to mellow out. I am so hyper tonight since I had some regular TWININGS TEA courtesy of Potsie from the food counter of the WORLD thank God there was no counter Police ..... Till our next tea time....

Ok... I know it has been a couple days since I was able to gab with you. It is now 3AM and I can't just go to bed without sharing with you what a lovely movie I just have seen "A Touch of Pink" a story of indian boy who was born in Kenya, grew up in Toronto and moved to England and found the love of his life. tha is where am going to stop. It is upto to watch it. You would adore Alim's (that was the boy who then turn into a Man who moved to Engaland) mother Nuru! It does bring butterflies to your heart! Very fresh and heart warming... been Sluggish tea wont cut it need a strong JAVA!!!

Ok.. I don't know why but I am feeling sluggish ?? Or maybe am just tired. Been stuck at the benches with a grouchy crew but that would be for a different segment and will not be on this segment. Anyways.. went back to work at the happy Place lotsa new stuff to buy and see arrghhhh I love that and hate it at the same time... can't wait maybe this is one reason why I am like this 21 more days and before we get there I have to jump hoops in order to get there... tax time.. car insurance.. mortgage.. yada..yada..yada.. Ok..Ok..Ok.. let's get to it.. when I got home this morning from work me and Potsie saw Sharktale it's an OK movie. yes that's it an OK movie if you really have nothing better to do or to watch.. then go see this movie. The highlight of this movie for me was prior to watching this movie I heard a conversation between a father and a 3y/o daughter that goes like this:

3 y/o:( running to Bruce the plush toy,character from the movie nemo) daddy.. look bruce!!!

father: Oh yes! bruce your favorite, let's go pay for bruce so you can go home and see Sharktale again!!!

One thing I learn in life never offer anybody the kind of drink you like, offer them someone out of your menu so just in case they throw it away.. your feelings won't get hurt... better yet don't offer anybody anything.. wait till they ask for one so then by the time you give it to them... they can't say you FORCED it to them... and it will be your fault if they get burnt! Just like what EDNA ( from the Incredibles I love her) would say... "whatever darling" !!!

do you really know what flavor tea do you like ???

Ok... As society discover all the different flavor of tea to a point now that we have the "chai" which I have not tried yet since I am not a fan of cream being in my tea. I like my tea CLEAR... where I can see if there's any tea leaves floating around. I don't like cream in my tea to blur my thoughts and not find out that the tea bag burst and next thing you know... the only thing you can do with that cup of tea that you lovingly prepare is to just toss it.. what after adding the right amount of sweetener, the cream and here you are thinking Yum.. this will be a good cup of chai... then what ???there's that bitter taste ??? surprising you and leaving you speechless.... some people.. like me... may just dump it off and maybe go to starbucks.. pay good money and let someone prepare my coffee... yes not tea.. I have the tendency of looking back and hit myself for taking all the time in making that so called chai to perfection and not realized that the bag of the tea I used was not strong enough with all the stirring I did. So hey!!! let someone make it for me granted I have to pay good money for a Starbucks coffee but then I can easily go back and complain about it if I don't like what they did with my coffee. But then if you have patience.... some people will trek back to the kitchen find a strainer.. take all those gook off the so called chai and maybe just maybe .. even reheat it in the microwave and tell their selves... hey this chai will be good to the last drop...but then what... after they finished that cup of chai.. still there will be that muddy looking paste at the bottom of your cup.. all because you want to have that chai, why cant you just have a regular tea or maybe even flavored but make it the old way of making tea.... with hot water and if you want it sweet just add your sugar or your sweetener of choice and if you really want to splurge.. add some lemon! There !!! This will always be my cup of tea... Gourmet or plain.. it would be... a tea bag... with or without sweetener... and maybe a little lemon (if you really have to give me the Lipton by the bulk kind ;o)) is that hard to make ??? Comments anybody ???

I know it has been awhile, I almost went out of biz... why ?? ask the main Potsie!!! Anyway... had a great weekend!!! Saturday 3/19 sun was out and so was 75 Mickey Statue in Washington,DC... stayed in a comfortable hotel and had a feast on Sunday 3/20 1st for breakfast at the Sea Grill located at the lobby of the hotel mind you it was buffet!!! Yum... and Lunch was again buffet at Phillips in Baltimore.

Ok to continue with our movie flicks... if you have not seen Notebook and you feel like you need to release some tucked away emotions... this is the movie to do it!!! You need a box of that Puff Aloe Tissue from beginning to end. Not to good but not bad either was the movie Paparazzi... ifr only this could happen in real life !!! Hmmm!!! Well that's all for now... The struggle in losing weight is still on....

I will have to take a break and not necessarily a tea break... I just found the tea bag was broken and some tea leaves was in my tea need to do some filtering... Till next time

OK I finally finished the movie "Love me if you dare" It does have a happy stupid ending so you really have to check it. How much can you love someone ?? And to what extent you are going to love that someone .... Give that someone a hug and a kiss and let them know how much they make your world a better place to be in....

OK, I will make this short and sweet. But before anything else it was really nice to get to talk to my friends in NC Hope to see you soon guys!!! Ok.. what happend today ??? I slept till around 12 Noon which means I missed 2 meals arrgggg went to rent some movies and started watching "Love me if you dare" a foreign movie but I think it was good.. well that is why I am cutting this short since I have to see the conclusion of the movie :o) Got busy at work and got busy playing over the net so did not have time to watch it. In the AM I have to be at RMH to work for a couple of hours and then off to churn my butter at the big house ! Okie dokie .. Diet was fine kinda hard today after a big bountiful brunch yesterday at Hibachi!

Tea ?? what Tea ???

Tea ?? ? Did not get to drink any, it's Saturday am taking a day off! But still tried to watch what I shove in my mouth.. Sunday again the weekend is over another 12 days of work... Thank God we are done with Uncle Sam. It sucks when you see how much he charge you just to be able to support yourself, and what is more frustrating is when you see someone with all those Bling Bling, nice leather jackets and Cadillac and paying the market with an access card!! I know I know.. that is a different segment .. excuse me I just can't help it.. anyway on with the movie of the night..... we just got done watching the movie "Exorcist the Beginning".. It has the effect of an old suspense thriller movie till the almost look alike Linda Blair started acting like Keanu Reeves in Matrix. All in all it scared the you know what out of us. So if you are a fan of the old scary movies like phantasm.. Ammityville etc. you would see that in this movie. Not the new computer generated suspense thriller!

Boiling Tea...

Ok... it is Saturday and am off for a change thank god for Lourdes! She is a good friend and our part time crew at work... Potsie left for work around 11AM and here I am casnataing my morning away. The sun is out a nice day for walk .. you think am going to walk ?? I enjoy vegetating what can I say... This afternoon we are going to check how much Uncle Sam had taken from us... how I wish we could win the lottery so I can go back to school get my mom and dad to come back and me and Potsie don't have to work as hard... but then... we would have another kind of problem by then but who knows if you have all that money problem would come buy easy... be careful what you wish for.. Ok..Ok..Ok.. I just wish am in Florida right now ! Not b'cuz of the weather but am just tired with work! I can't wait for the next vacation. Anyway regarding the boiling tea... last night at work this two LIS person got me so mad and a cave size of a headache. Why ???? Well our lab is not well ventilated and since its still considered winter ( yeah right ) we cannot open the windows since its locked and can you imagine two mouths that are both causing HAVOC in the room and I was so frustrated since I ran out of air freshener which I always have since my co workers just love to do no. 2 (of course in the bathroom located in the lab :o< )in the lab and again aromatized the whole lab yuck! So finally my manager had seen my dilemma and lent me her own bottle of vanilla freshener and offered me a pack of gum, not for me but for them. I did went back to the room spray some and asked them if they want some gum of course after I chew one to not insult them to much Geezz!! Lee,, the main breather ! said.. "oh thank you am fine" I said no, please have some.. he really thinks I was being nice ! mama mia!!! Then the second guy Rob - the lesser stinker- well what about me.. I said of course you two(too)! And even after the gum they still urrghhhh!!! Bleached the counter and left the bleach infront me... I hate bleach but I rather smell bleach and diminished the size of my lungs that be Stinknified !! So pls. as I always say to anybody if I can be late bec. I have to take a bath so as not to give you ahead ache you too can be late and scrape that tongue and brush your teeth! I know I know I am a procrastinator to brushing too but I do brush my teeth and even have a spare spin cycle type of brush at work! So there !! that's one of the thing that can make my tea boil! Enjoy your weekend guys!! Me am just looking forward for brunch tomorrow... salmo... sushie... cheesecake Yum!!!!

Ok..Ok.. I know I should have done this earlier but am to busy getting updates for our trip this April!!! You know me gotta check all the new stuff at the happy Place! Yes.. to some we both look stupid for doing this trips so many times but that is the only trip we know that we weill love and enjoy. Yes there are other places to see and check out.. but would you pass you favorite food let say chocolate to eat "bittetmellon" ?? No right ?? My point exactly... Ok.. rough brass.. no movie no gossip... till next tea time.. Oh yes I missed my tea time at 11AM yesterday did not wake up... arrgghhhh...
